Currently living in Brighton on England’s south coast, Australian alt. rock genius Nick Cave is a huge personal favourite! Constantly re-examining the universal themes of love, loss, sex, religion and the human condition, Nick Cave has 13 solo albums behind him (excluding compilations, collaborations, live releases and soundtracks), plus a clutch of releases from his apocalyptic Goth-rock outfit, The Birthday Party. Not only is Nick Cave a brilliant and prolific songwriter, he has also written three books, a couple of screenplays and even had an unexpected UK hit single in the unlikely company of fellow Antipodean Kylie Minogue. A powerhouse performer (especially when backed by his remarkable band The Bad Seeds) who inspires slavish devotion from his fans, Nick Cave is an artist who has rarely put a foot wrong in a career spanning almost three decades – and long may the great man continue!
